Each custom order is made entirely by hand and involves multiple stages, including throwing or handbuilding, sculpting, drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final glaze firing. To make sure you're happy with the direction of the piece, I will send progress photos and ask for your approval before moving on to each major stage. Please keep in mind that timely responses are important, as I cannot continue to the next step until I receive confirmation. Delays in communication may affect the overall timeline of your order.

Ceramics is a unique and sometimes unpredictable medium. While I take great care throughout the process, slight variations in color, glaze movement, texture, and other details can occur during firing and are part of the handmade nature of the work. Once a piece has gone through its first firing, changes are generally not possible, so I encourage you to review progress updates carefully before approving the next stage.
