Farm animals are often overlooked, even though they play such an important role in our daily lives and food systems. I believe they deserve compassion, care, and protection. Because they cannot speak for themselves, I want to be their voice. That is why the charity I choose for this piece is the Animal Legal Defense Fund, they advocate for stronger animal welfare protections and gives farm animals a voice through legal action and also education. Their efforts help promote more humane treatment of animals while encouraging a more responsible and sustainable relationship with the land, the environment, and the resources we all depend on.
